Hi, I am Mike - you may know me as Mike D Crypto. I am the founder/creator of WaxDAO.io, and a WAX Ambassador. I believe I would be an asset to the OIG for the following reasons: • Extensive experience with WAX smart contracts (I have a 9 part tutorial series on YouTube proving this, plus I have written contracts for many other projects on WAX) • 2 years of experience creating content on YouTube and writing blog articles, so I would be able to create any educational content required. • I've gone through the grant application process with WaxLabs, so I have first hand experience with how the process works. • Have built a large network within the WAX community, as well as a good reputation on WAX - so I am probably more connected to the community (and its needs/wants) than most other people. • Front end development experience (mostly React JS... WaxDAO is built in React and I am the developer of the entire platform) • Have plenty of experience using Git (I use Github to manage my projects, which I develop locally and push/pull updates using the command line) • Experience using cleos and most WAX/EOS APIs, so I have a decent understanding of how all the tools work, and how to test if they are working etc • A small amount of experience with setting up a WAX node, but not a ton of experience - I can certainly learn more about it if required. • Most of all, I have been putting blood sweat and tears into creating projects on WAX (and teaching others how to do the same) for about 8 months now. I would do anything in my power to help push the chain forward and see it reach its full potential.
